Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when you're affected by injury, pain, or disability. At FM Physiotherapy in Thornlie, we treat everything from back pain and posture issues to sports injuries and post-surgery rehab.
➤ Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No GP referral is required for private clients. However, if you're using Medicare (EPC), WorkCover, DVA, or NDIS funding, a referral may be required.

Initial consultations typically last 30 -45 minutes. Standard follow-up sessions range from 30–45 minutes depending on your condition and treatment plan.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, shorts for knee issues or a singlet for shoulder assessments.
